About The Position

Are you looking for an opportunity to create technical synergy that will leverage your experience and expertise in software engineering to build and integrate complex technical solutions for the Department of War (DoW)? As an integration engineer, you know the importance of ensuring ensuring applications work together. You’re eager to apply your expertise with integrating communications software knowledge to develop creative solutions. On our team, you’ll design, develop, and implement solutions for software integration projects across functions or between organizations that’ll directly impact the USAF mission. Using your experience implementing and integrating software applications, you’ll work alongside software development engineers to integrate tactical communications hardware and software to modernize a system that integrates data from multiple sources to create a synchronized air and battlefield picture. You’ll use tools like Git, Artifactory, and CI/CD pipelines to plan, organize, and conduct integration projects that meet design specifications and standards from inception to completion. In this role, you’ll impact the delivery of a highly scalable USAF command and control system designed to provide rapid, multi-domain situational awareness at the tactical edge. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with tactical communications software, such as MSCT, TDF, ADSI, REDCOM Sigma, Plexsys, VADAAR, ASCOT7, or SONOMARC, and CBC2 software, including Edge Broker and Kinetica
  • 5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using CI/CD pipelines and industry standard tools, including Git or Artifactory
  • 5+ years of experience developing and supporting complex integrated software solutions for a USG or Military enterprise information system
  • Experience working with tactical military communications systems and networks
  • Experience with Linux or Windows administration
  • Experience with Cloud-init or Minio
  • Experience with Harvester, Rancher, and Kubernetes
  • Secret clearance
  • IAT LVL II certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or STEM field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Master's degree in Software Engineering or related technical field
