As a Software Engineering Technical Leader, you will drive the architecture and delivery of AI-powered solutions that modernize internal platforms and deliver measurable business impact. You will lead the adoption of AI-native best practices, mentor engineers, and collaborate with partners to ensure solutions align with Cisco’s strategic objectives.
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant technical experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience building and delivering enterprise software solutions
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) integrated into production workflows
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining engineering harnesses (e.g., test automation frameworks, CI/CD infrastructure)
- Experience optimizing performance and cost-efficiency in AI/LLM-enabled software systems

Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and scale AI-enabled platforms that replace legacy enterprise tools and drive operational efficiencies
- Lead and mentor engineers, embedding AI-assisted development practices to elevate code quality and delivery velocity
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align technical solutions with business and operational goals
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practices into the engineering workflow
- Ensure the team’s outputs achieve tangible business outcomes, including cost savings and improved productivity
