About The Position

Pearson is hiring three Software Engineering Team Managers in the United States. These roles support different product areas: Vue Testing Services (VTS), Test Delivery (TD), and OnVue - Exam Developer. The VTS roles involve leading teams that support services for the candidate's assessment journey, including registration, payment, and score reporting. The Test Delivery roles focus on leading teams that support the delivery of assessments in test centers and online, with potential value in experience with high-volume, operationally critical, or reliability-focused platforms. The OnVue/Exam Developer roles offer growth and governance opportunities across online proctoring and vendor partnerships, with a need for transformation, quality improvement, and more sustainable processes for ExamDeveloper. In any of these opportunities, the manager will lead through clarity, coaching, accountability, and partnership, translating priorities into achievable plans, strengthening engineering and delivery practices, developing people, managing risk, and guiding the responsible adoption of AI-assisted development. This is a management role with minimal hands-on coding expected.
