Requirements

  • Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required).
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is required. Four additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree.
  • Twelve or more years of software engineering experience, including demonstrated experience in technical leadership or team lead roles supporting complex development environments.
  • Strong background in software engineering with proven technical leadership experience.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
  • Experience coordinating work across multiple stakeholders or teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with modern software development practices, tooling, and workflows.
  • Ability to operate effectively within customer development environments and mission constraints.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading developer productivity or internal tooling teams.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools or platforms.
  • Experience working in customer-facing or contract-driven engineering environments.
  • Prior exposure to reverse engineering or security-focused engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

  • You lead and coordinate the daily work of a software engineering team delivering developer and reverse engineering tooling improvements.
  • You serve as the primary point of contact for the customer, managing expectations, priorities, and communication.
  • You conduct regular team check-ins to support performance, professional growth, and alignment with mission goals.
  • You identify, document, and prioritize technical and operational requirements in partnership with stakeholders.
  • You manage onboarding, staffing coordination, and resource planning.
  • You provide hands-on technical guidance when needed and help remove blockers.
  • You track progress, risks, and dependencies and provide clear, consistent status updates to leadership and customers.
