Software Engineering Manager

Anduril•Costa Mesa, CA

About The Position

Anduril is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Applications team within its Connected Factory organization. Connected Factory connects people, robots, and systems across Anduril’s smart factories. Its Applications team builds software products used by factory-floor employees and enterprise teams, while the Platform team builds the underlying infrastructure, edge, and data services. The manager will own a portfolio of applications that turn factory data into useful tools, including digital twin applications such as an asset management system for tracking equipment, tooling, and fixtures throughout their lifecycles; a live factory digital twin for planning, monitoring, and decision-making; and smart tool connectivity that integrates connected tools, test equipment, and other instrumented devices into manufacturing workflows. The role works closely with Connected Factory Platform, Manufacturing, Automation, and Quality teams to solve operational problems and scale products across Anduril’s growing factory footprint. The ideal candidate has experience building user-facing software on data-heavy, hardware-connected systems; leading and growing engineering teams; and working in fast-paced, greenfield environments. The role includes leading the team, guiding application design, integrating software with robotics and operational technology, delivering digital twin applications, and promoting operational and engineering excellence.
