The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5 or more years of related experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage the core technology, direct the activities of a functional engineering team and provide technical project oversight within Plexus Engineering Solutions.
  • Be an active contributor in shaping the culture on their team and at their site.
  • Plan and manage company projects and/or PLXS-ENG customer projects ensuring that they fall within budget and on schedule.
  • Ensure technical success of programs by understanding customer needs, staffing programs with appropriate resourcing, and driving continuous improvement of tools and processes.
  • Understand and be able to identify leading indicators of project challenges, and take mitigating actions as necessary.
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System through process ownership and CAPA resolution.
  • Expand and grow technical and leadership competencies by hiring diverse and high potential talent that enhances our people, product and process capabilities.
  • Establish and achieve group growth objectives through headcount growth and upskilling employee skillsets needed to support ongoing customer demands.
  • Exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values.
  • Focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
  • Drive non-billable hours optimization (NBHO), minimizing administrative tasks and maximizing value-add activities within functional team.
  • Manage headcount and flex staffing model effectively to meet needs of customers and business.
  • Drive CapEx planning for functional team.
  • Effectively manage the team resources and lead company projects and/or PLXS-ENG customer projects to a successful execution.
  • Partner with the engineering team to identify solutions to meet the project needs.
  • Manage expectations regarding project scope, schedule, budget, risks, deliverables, and any changes to the original proposal.
