About The Position

Lead a team of senior/principal-level engineers responsible for web platform, hosting, and delivery infrastructure. Drive a high-performing engineering culture focused on reliability, automation, and continuous improvement. Ensure effective capacity planning, staffing, and skill coverage across critical platforms. Define and execute the platform roadmap aligned to enterprise digital strategy. Partner with architecture and product teams to align platform capabilities with business needs. Drive improvements in, Caching strategies, Traffic routing (DNS, internal vs external flows), Performance optimization. Enforce security policies and ensure adherence to enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements. Drive adoption of automation and infrastructure-as-code. Establish and enforce engineering standards for reliability, maintainability, and performance. Requirements

University / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
At least 3 years of prior management experience is typically required.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

Ensure effective capacity planning, staffing, and skill coverage across critical platforms
Define and execute the platform roadmap aligned to enterprise digital strategy
Partner with architecture and product teams to align platform capabilities with business needs
Drive improvements in, Caching strategies, Traffic routing (DNS, internal vs external flows), Performance optimization
Enforce security policies and ensure adherence to enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements
Drive adoption of automation and infrastructure-as-code
Establish and enforce engineering standards for reliability, maintainability, and performance
Manages development projects, development teams and application support functions.
Oversees multiple application programming and analysis projects which include development, installation and maintenance of application programs.
Monitors and maintains adherence and compliance to quality standards on an ongoing basis.
Maximizes staff contribution through professional growth and development, to increase teamwork and more effectively meet business needs.
Analyzes applications to ensure that all systems that are developed, meet business needs and specifications.
