About The Position

A growing technology team is seeking a full-time Salesforce Software Engineering Manager to lead Salesforce implementation, modernization, and platform enhancement initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading technical teams, partnering with business stakeholders, and driving meaningful improvements across customer care platforms. The role will serve as the team champion for Salesforce initiatives, including automation, workflow optimization, integrations, Agentic AI, and the rollout of additional Salesforce products such as Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant software engineering, Salesforce, or technology leadership experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience preferred
  • Experience with Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, or similar Salesforce products
  • 3+ years of custom Salesforce development and integration experience
  • 2+ years of experience with solution design and user experience for digital or contact center agents
  • 2+ years of experience managing Salesforce engineering teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with senior leaders, business stakeholders, and IT teams
  • Ability to supervise staff, mentor developers, and support team growth
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, App Builder, Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Service Cloud
  • Technical architecture or development certification preferred
  • Experience with Eclipse IDE, Force.com ANT, Developer Console, debugging, and querying tools
  • Experience with Apex, SFDC Developer tools, Apex Data Loader, and Salesforce data loads
  • Experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, callouts, future methods, batch Apex, and scheduled Apex
  • Hands-on experience with both point-and-click configuration and programmatic customization
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and OAuth
  • GraphQL experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead Salesforce engineering initiatives across implementation, modernization, automation, and integration projects
  • Partner with business, UX design, architecture, API, and external development teams to deliver scalable technical solutions
  • Support the modernization of customer care platforms across voice, chat, SMS, push notifications, and other delivery channels
  • Guide development teams through business requirements, design documents, test plans, and test cases
  • Lead the development and deployment of new Salesforce features and platform enhancements
  • Recommend process and technology optimizations to improve efficiency, speed to market, and platform performance
  • Enforce performance, code quality, peer review, and automated testing standards
  • Manage multiple complex software development projects while maintaining delivery expectations
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and developing Salesforce engineering team members
  • Communicate technical issues, recommendations, and project updates to senior leadership and cross-functional partners
