About The Position
MACOM’s Morgan Hill test engineering team is looking for a talented intern who can join the team in software development and testing. During the 12 weeks each Intern will be given an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals, gain hands on experience, receive excellent training and ongoing supervision, be invited to attend an intern webinar series, attend networking/social events, and attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls. Interns will also receive formal, written feedback.
Requirements
- Candidate must be presently pursuing a BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer science or similar
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience using MS Office
Nice To Haves
- C, C++, Python, SQL, and/or relevant tools.
Responsibilities
- Be part of the test engineering activities.
- Develop software and implement it on the production floor in Operations department.
Benefits
- The Hourly Range for this position is $20 – $47 per hour.
