About The Position

PrizePicks is seeking passionate and curious individuals for a Software Engineering Internship focused on Summer 2027. This is an opportunity to gain real-world experience by contributing to a platform used by millions of users. Interns will be integrated into dedicated engineering teams, working on features that go live in production code. The program emphasizes learning from experienced engineers and mentors, participating in the full development lifecycle, and receiving constructive code reviews.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or within 1 semester post-graduation.
Interest in front-end or back-end development.
Understanding of the basics of software development.
Eagerness to apply foundational knowledge.
Curious, collaborative learner who seeks feedback and tackles challenges.
Familiarity with at least some of the following technologies: Ruby/Rails, Go, SQL (Postgres), JavaScript/TypeScript, React/JSX, HTML, or CSS.
Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Any experience with personal projects or open-source contributions is a big plus.

Responsibilities

Write and ship code that directly affects user experience.
Collaborate with experienced engineers and a dedicated mentor.
