Integrate is hiring a Software Engineering Intern for a 12-week summer internship, running June–September 2027 with flexible start and end dates to accommodate academic schedules. This is a hands-on internship rather than a shadowing program: interns contribute to real, customer-facing features that ship to production alongside the engineering team. Interns work on the same product as other engineers and can see the impact of their work. The intern will work closely with experienced engineers and collaborate with product and design, with support from weekly manager check-ins, a dedicated engineering buddy, code reviews, and team collaboration. The role provides exposure to technical and product decisions and to the full software development lifecycle, including scoping, design, testing, deployment, debugging production systems, monitoring performance, and deploying to multiple environments through a CI/CD pipeline. Interns also share their work at the company-wide Feature Friday and contribute to engineering documentation and processes. The product is a real-time project management platform for complex government and commercial programs. The technical environment includes a React and TypeScript frontend and a microservice-based architecture that uses languages including Go, Python, and Rust. The core stack also includes HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, SQL, REST, GitHub Actions, Playwright, React Testing Library, Linear, and feature-flagged continuous deployment. Internship projects typically involve approximately 60% frontend and 40% backend work, varying with team priorities and project needs. The position is on-site in Seattle, Washington, and interns must reside in the Seattle area throughout the internship. Compensation is $45 per hour. The role requires US person status as defined in the posting because it involves access to information protected under US export control laws.
