About The Position

Safran Federal Systems is looking for a highly motivated and driven Software Engineer Intern to join their team. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work on a team designing and implementing new features for their GNSS simulator products. Your contribution will play a part in the overall success of their product line and their customers’ projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in engineering
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with C/C++, C#, or Python
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn.
• Ability to move throughout the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements software for embedded systems
• Responsible for following, developing, and evolving software development best practices
• Responsible for requirements management and quality assurance of software products
• Expected to function outside of normal job function when needed by the project team, or the company.
• Responsible for reporting status or sharing knowledge with management or other team members
