About The Position

McKesson's Undergraduate Intern Program provides an opportunity to experience the healthcare industry first-hand and apply academic knowledge in a real-world software engineering environment. Through project-based work across key business initiatives, you will gain hands-on experience developing and testing software solutions, including responsible applications of artificial intelligence and machine learning. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, build a professional network, and strengthen the technical and interpersonal skills needed to succeed in a dynamic and growing business.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a degree program for the duration of the internship.
3.0 minimum GPA.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program applicable to Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field and entering your Junior or Senior year.
Coding experience in JavaScript, Python, or another programming or scripting language.
Understanding of relational databases, SQL queries, data structures, and software development fundamentals.

Nice To Haves

Willingness to learn, develop, and contribute in an agile development environment.
Experience with using AI-assisted development tools to improve software quality and engineering efficiency.
Coursework, projects, or hands-on exposure to artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, or natural language processing.
Energetic and curious self-starter who brings interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and creative problem-solving to the team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
