About The Position
JR Automation is seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineering Intern/Co-op to join its team. This hybrid/remote position is located in Greenville, South Carolina, and offers hands-on experience in software development, automation, and engineering practices. The co-op will work closely with experienced engineers on real-world projects that affect clients and the industry. Candidates must successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check. JR Automation is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree or higher program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similarly applicable field.
- Basic proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Strong desire and intention to pursue a career in software engineering.
- Successful completion of a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check.
Responsibilities
- Develop and/or maintain a wide range of software solutions.
- Demonstrate flexibility in the nature of assignments and working hours.
- Learn the skills needed to complete assigned tasks through self-study and by seeking guidance or instruction from experienced team members.
- Make positive contributions to the company in response to the training provided.
- Approach assignments with an appropriate sense of urgency to meet required timelines.
- Travel as necessary to complete assignments.
