About The Position
NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for a Software Developer to support a Federal Program in Sterling, VA. This is a direct-hire role with our client, a fast-growing Federal Integrator. An active TS/SCI Clearance and CI Polygraph is required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field
- Meet DOD 8140 requirements (Security+ CE Certification)
- Solid ability to demonstrate solid software engineering rigor
- Experience with Cloud architecture and system design (prefer AWS, but will consider Azure)
- Strong documentation skills
- Familiar with Agile Methodologies
- Ability to accurately decompose tasks for Jira stories
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) infrastructure and tools
- Experience with Cloud solution optimization
- Experience configuring and instrumenting Virtualization tools (Grafana, Splunk)
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Other Cloud experience (Azure, Google, Oracle, IBM)
- Integration of virtualized applications and application streaming or layering techniques
- Assist with leading and overseeing a total system perspective including technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud services, infrastructure and security domains
- SharePoint admin systems engineering experience
- IBM Enterprise Lifcycle Management systems engineering experience
- TeamWork Cloud/Cameo systems engineering experience
- Tableau systems engineering experience
Responsibilities
- Developing software/scripting to support Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), test automation and / or DevSecOps on iterative development projects
- Demonstrated experience with system testing and validation
- Expert troubleshooting and solutioning skills
- Developing integration interfaces using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy
- Experience and comfortability with Basic DevOps Tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, Active Directory, IdAM, and LDAP)
- Familiarity with Containerized Development environments (Rancher, Kubernetes)
- Expertise with creating robust test plans
- Ability to quickly get familiar with customer system security requirements and processes
- Preparation and maintenance of system components
- Experience with API Gateways, catalogs
