The Combined Orbital Operations, Logistics, and Resiliency (COOLR) program ensures U.S. military forces have continuous, secure, and uninterrupted global communications by providing operations and maintenance of Military Strategic and Tactical Relay (Milstar), and Advanced Extremely High Frequency (AEHF) satellite constellations. COOLR’s mission encompasses satellite bus and payload sustainment, ground hardware maintenance, on-orbit troubleshooting, cybersecurity enhancements, and mission planning. This role will involve building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines to modernize how satellite ground system software is developed, tested, and deployed. The engineer would be expected to work with both modern DevOps tooling and legacy codebases, develop and integrate automated test suites, and ensure pipelines meet the strict compliance and security requirements common in the aerospace domain.
