About The Position

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement software solutions that solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. This role involves all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. The engineer will identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues, take an active role in code reviews to ensure solutions align with architectural specifications, and assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information/data flows. Participation in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions is also a key part of this role.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Seven (7) years of experience with Core Java.
Seven (7) years of experience with J2EE.
Four (4) years of experience utilizing Java performance measurement and profiling tools to optimize the performance of RCP-based standalone applications, identify bottlenecks, and implement technical solutions.
One (1) year of experience with Shell scripting.
One (1) year of experience working in Linux environments including performing automation and system administration tasks.
Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Experience utilizing one or more programming languages including functions of collections, streaming, multithreading, and concurrency.
Experience designing and developing standalone software applications using Java, particularly with Eclipse's Rich Client Platform (RCP).
Experience architecting robust, scalable solutions tailored to client requirements.
Experience implementing advanced multithreading and concurrency techniques within Java applications and ensuring efficient resource utilization and high performance.
Experience with Spring Framework including building SOAP web services and RESTful web services.
Experience leveraging Spring's features for enterprise-grade application development.
Experience using build and integration tools including Maven, Git, and Jenkins to manage complex build processes, continuous integration, and version control.
Experience performing application log monitoring and analysis using Dynatrace to diagnose issues and optimize application performance.
Experience working with application servers including Apache Tomcat to deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications.
Experience delivering comprehensive system design.
Experience with test driven software development.
Experience writing JUnit test cases for unit testing.
Experience ensuring code quality and reliability through rigorous testing practices.
