About The Position

Snowflake’s Engineering Systems organization builds the tools, infrastructure, and platforms that help engineers develop, test, and deliver high-quality software efficiently. The Continuous Integration team builds and operates the systems that power builds, tests, validation, and developer workflows across Snowflake’s engineering organization. This Software Engineer will help build reliable, scalable CI services that support thousands of engineers and a rapidly growing multi-cloud codebase. The role involves developing distributed systems, CI services, APIs, tooling, and automation that improve build reliability, test execution, developer productivity, and software delivery. The engineer will contribute to scalable infrastructure across cloud environments, investigate and resolve operational issues, collaborate with teams across Snowflake, and participate in design, code review, testing, and production support. The role also contributes to CI practices and operational processes as the organization grows. The ideal candidate has at least three years of software engineering experience building production systems, strong computer science fundamentals, and experience designing reliable software services. Snowflake emphasizes ownership, collaboration, thoughtful engineering, continuous improvement, and an experimental mindset, including using AI as a collaborator to improve how work gets done.
