About The Position

The Software Engineer 2 codes software applications based on business requirements. The Software Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer with expertise in React Native, GraphQL, TypeScript and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in building modern mobile applications using React Native, GraphQL, mobile component architecture, responsive styling, and React/Next.js frameworks. This role also requires familiarity with mobile foundation, API integration, cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and security/compliance standards. The selected candidate must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Louisville, KY; Dallas, TX; or Washington, DC metropolitan areas, or be willing to relocate to one of these locations.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of proficiency in React Native, Java Script, Type Script, GraphQL including query and mutation development and Apollo/Relay client handling.
  • 1-2 years of experience with API integration (REST/SOAP).
  • 1 -2 years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) for hosting, monitoring, and scaling.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
  • Moderate familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines and version control tools.
  • Moderate understanding of security and compliance standards (PCI, HIPAA, CMS).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript and JavaScript for both Android and iOS.
  • Built highly reusable UI components and shared business modules, reducing feature development effort
  • Integrate with REST and SOAP APIs for third-party services.
  • Integrate with Adobe Analytics and Dynatrace for application monitoring, telemetry and performance optimization
  • Deploy, monitor, and scale solutions on Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Participate in DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipeline configuration and version control.
  • Apply security and compliance standards, including PCI, HIPAA, and CMS requirements.
