As a Software Engineer at Litera, you will help build the technologies that power the legal industry's digital transformation. This role plays a critical part in delivering scalable, secure, and innovative SaaS solutions that enable legal professionals to work more efficiently and make better decisions. By leveraging modern engineering practices and AI-powered development tools, you will accelerate product innovation, improve customer outcomes, and contribute to Litera's continued growth as a leader in legal technology. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to create reliable, high-impact solutions that drive measurable value for customers around the world.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience developing modern full-stack applications.
  • Experience building web applications and APIs using contemporary programming languages, frameworks, and software development practices.
  • Proficiency working in collaborative development environments utilizing source control, code reviews, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience using AI-powered development tools or coding assistants to improve productivity and software delivery outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, containerization, or deployment processes.
  • Experience incorporating AI or GenAI capabilities into software products or development workflows.
  • Experience working in high-growth or fast-paced technology environments.
