About The Position

Requirements
- 3–10 years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience building and shipping production-grade software systems
- Background in high-growth, venture-backed startups or high-talent-density environments
- Proven ability to own features or systems end-to-end
- Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, or C++
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco or New York
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AI/ML systems or data-intensive applications
- Background at top-tier startups or companies with strong engineering cultures (e.g., OpenAI, Figma, early Uber)
- Founding engineer or founder experience
- Experience in research labs or highly technical environments
- Strong academic background in Computer Science or related fields
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale software systems across the full stack (backend, frontend, or infrastructure)
- Take ownership of critical product features from concept to production
- Collaborate closely with founders, product managers, and designers to define product direction
- Build systems that directly impact users, growth, and business outcomes
- Contribute to high-velocity engineering cultures within small, collaborative teams
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies to solve complex technical challenges
Benefits
