Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering; or 5+ years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, Python or C#
Experience building and using REST APIs
Understanding of both relational and non-relational databases
Experience using Git for version control
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud hosting infrastructure
Proficient with Microsoft Office; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in difficult situations
Self-motivated with strong time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Excellent attention to detail
Open to both giving and receiving feedback

Responsibilities

Develop software-driven solutions that directly advance team goals to increase revenue and efficiency
Manage cloud infrastructure deployments directly tied to owned projects; monitor and adapt to any provider changes and opportunities for cost savings to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and maximize profitability
Independently identify and implement improvements to existing systems to ensure they align with evolving business needs and enhance efficiency in areas with opportunities for continuous refinement
Collaborate with inter-departmental stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for automation to improve productivity
Engage directly with internal users to gather quality feedback and evaluate the impact of previous work on business initiatives to guide future iterations that support ongoing business priorities
Provide development and engineering support to other team members to drive project completion and expansion within the organization
Ensure adherence to all internal and industry-standard software engineering best practices, and proactively assess how evolving standards may affect existing systems to maintain long-term sustainability and scalability
