About The Position

At Capgemini, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technology solutions that drive business value and enhance client experiences. You will contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of scalable, high-quality solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment. We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer with strong expertise in Java backend development and modern frontend technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable cloud-native applications, developing APIs and microservices, and creating intuitive user interfaces using React and related frameworks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and API Development.
  • Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of Generative AI APIs and LLM integrations.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and software development best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • A full-stack engineer with expertise in Java, React, Microservices, Cloud, and AI integrations, capable of building scalable, high-performance applications while collaborating effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Build responsive and modern user interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Develop and integrate REST/GraphQL APIs and web services.
  • Design cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Integrate Generative AI/LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini into business solutions.
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Develop Python-based components for automation, services, and data processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, application reliability, performance optimization, and code quality.
