About The Position

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in software development to join their team. This role involves building and supporting cloud-native, serverless applications using Node.js, React.js, AWS services, Microservices, and DevOps tools. The position focuses on development, integration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with architects and technical leads to deliver scalable enterprise solutions within an Agile environment. The engineer will also contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

  • 5 plus years experience in Full stack development
  • Develop backend services using: Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Build responsive user interfaces using: React.js, Redux / Context API, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Design and consume REST APIs and integrations.
  • Develop serverless applications using AWS services.
  • Implement event-driven and asynchronous solutions using Kafka and messaging platforms.
  • AWS & Serverless, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS / EKS, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Step Functions, CloudWatch, IAM

Responsibilities

  • Building and supporting cloud-native, serverless applications using Node.js, React.js, AWS services, Microservices, and DevOps tools.
  • Focusing on development, integration, troubleshooting, and collaborating with architects and technical leads to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
  • Developing scalable cloud-native solutions, collaborating with architects and leads, and delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment.
  • Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, testing, and production support.
  • Contributing to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Mentoring junior developers and supporting engineering best practices.
