Enduring Labs is an SF-based company backed by First Round Capital. We are building Mason, an AI-native property manager. We are growing our engineering team. What We’re Solving 15 million single-family homes are rented in the United States, 50% of which are professionally managed. Owners are promised freedom from the details, a quality vendor network for maintenance, and an available line for tenants. But they are met by unanswered calls, challenging tenants, and unreliable vendors. Enter Mason. Mason is an infinitely patient, detail-oriented assistant to owners, partner to vendors, and resource for tenants. In a job where communication is 90% of the battle, Mason is a landlords secret weapon. Renters call or text Mason 24/7. Mason troubleshoots live, brings in the right help, while keeping owners in the loop. The Role We are hiring an engineer to help us extend Mason past his roots in maintenance. To be successful, we need to handle the end-to-end journey of a property under management. And there is a sht-ton to be built.

Requirements

• Trust yourself to take a big swing.
• Sweat the details, including database tables, integrations, and logs.
• Want to know the end user.
• Have a generalist skillset with a back-end bias.
• Experience with Multi-Step LLM Reliability.
• Experience with Integrations & Context Extraction.
• Experience with Multi-party workflows.

Responsibilities

• Handle the end-to-end journey of a property under management.
• Push to prod and balance the tradeoffs of what might break.
• Decide your approach and standards of development with autonomy.
• Work across the full stack with a back-end bias.
• Orchestrate systems and manage pipelines.
• Build long-running processes chaining dozens of LLM calls together.
• Integrate with customer systems to extract context.
• Provide continuity to customers' operations.
• Orchestrate conversations amongst vendors, owners, tenants, in-person agents, and many other parties.
