About The Position

Streamline Healthcare Solutions LLC seeks a Software Engineer to leverage programming skills to design and develop new and existing software applications. This role involves creating complex models and enhancements on proprietary software systems, investigating software malfunctions, debugging applications, and performing code refactoring, optimization, and performance tuning. The engineer will also review other developers' code, collaborate with testers, provide work estimates, and report potential roadblocks to the Manager. Additionally, the position requires dedicating time to researching new technologies, staying current with best practices, and contributing to product development and innovation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field
Two years of experience in the job offered or in software engineering
Experience with Programming an Integrated Hospital Management System
.NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and SQL Server
Developing software for healthcare environments
Developing UIs

Responsibilities

Leverage programming skills to design and develop new and existing software applications
Create complex models and enhancements on proprietary software systems
Investigate software malfunctions and errors, and debug applications to correct the problems
Perform code refactoring, optimization and performance tuning
Review other developers code and work with testers to remediate issues discovered
Provide realistic work estimates, deliver in timely manner and collaborate with other team members
Report potential roadblocks and scope issues that may affect deadlines to the Manager
Dedicate time to researching new technologies and keeping current with best practices, patterns and relevant technologies
Contribute to the product development and innovation process and brainstorming sessions
