About The Position

This role is for a Software Engineer working on-site in Huntsville, AL. The position is full-time and requires an active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance at the time of application and to start.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with five years of experience, or a master's degree with no required years of experience.
• Demonstrated C++ development experience.
• Experience with unit test and system test development.
• Experience with C, Go, Ada, and/or Python.
• Ability to read and understand other programming languages.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10 percent of the time.
• Ability to work on site in an office environment.
• Current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance required at application and to start.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with simulation and simulation frameworks.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Experience with Bamboo, Jenkins, Fortify, Coverity, and SQL databases.
• Knowledge of Ground-based Midcourse Defense.
• Experience with containers and container development.
