This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience on a Linux-based DevOps team working in private and public clouds.
Hands-on experience building and supporting enterprise applications with automated builds, deployments, and operating domains using Jenkins, Ansible, CDK, TypeScript in public and private cloud environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to make independent decisions involving setting priorities and evaluating results
Ability to work with urgency while remaining calm and focused when resolving issues. Manage multiple deadlines and priorities – able to multi-task.
Willingness to participate in pair programming when needed.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a willingness to engage in healthy dialogue to discuss work items and issues in team settings.
Passion for operational excellence, continuous improvement, and ongoing professional development.
Mandatory on-call evenings and weekend rotation

Responsibilities

Contributing member of an Application / Infrastructure Operations team developing end-to-end automation for software deployments in private and public cloud environments.
Configure and deploy new software; troubleshoot and resolve problems when they arise.
Create reusable, clean and high-quality code for tooling applications and deployment pipelines.
Maintain a continual focus on automation to accelerate delivery timelines and reduce complexity
Handle a variety of assignments and requests that come from various customers including development teams, infrastructure teams, datacenter, Helpdesk, and Software Support.
Part of a rotational team providing on-call 7x24 operational support for external and internal software products to increase availability and reliability while increasing speed to market.
Collaborate with teammates and product owners to groom backlogs of work for upcoming development sprints.
Stay abreast of the latest technological trends through individual and team training opportunities.
Other duties as required.
