About The Position

Lockheed Martin Space will be hosting an invitation-only hiring event in very early September in Sunnyvale, CA. This requisition is to capture Level 2 through Level 3 Software Engineer candidates to invite to the hiring event. We will be reviewing all Software Engineer applicant resumes, contacting those that meet all of the Basic Qualifications and Desired Skills and may be a fit for one of our open roles, and interviewing candidates for the appropriate level opportunities. If invited to the event, you will be provided with the details regarding date, time, and location of the invitation-only hiring event. We will be interviewing candidates at Level 2 through Level 5 for roles supporting Lockheed Martin Space and the NGI program where your expertise will be put to the test. The positions are on-site 100% of the time. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Aerospace Engineering or other related degree program from an accredited college/university.
  • Clearance Required Prior to Start: Interim Secret.

Nice To Haves

  • Secret (or higher) clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with programming languages such as C, C++
  • Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience
  • Experience doing low level embedded software development including one or more of the following (Board Support Packages (BSP), device drivers, bootloaders).
  • Familiarity with hardware interfaces, bus protocols, and analog/digital signaling
  • Experience troubleshooting skills for tough technical challenges
  • Knowledge of Agile Software Development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & test
  • Experience working with multiple communications protocols
  • Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams
