About The Position

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement software solutions independently. This role involves solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices, participating in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. The engineer will also identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues, take an active role in code reviews, and assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Additionally, the role involves participating in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Java Developer, System Analyst, or related occupation.
• Three (3) years of experience developing front-end web applications using JavaScript and React.
• Three (3) years of experience with Windows and Linux systems.
• Three (3) years of experience running Linux shell in Windows systems.
• Three (3) years of experience developing responsive React applications that adhere to modern UI application design and implementation patterns, ensuring compatibility across web browsers including Chrome, Safari, and Firefox, and mobile devices including iPhone, iPad, and Android phones.
• Three (3) years of experience developing UI applications that are compliant with ADA standards.
• Three (3) years of experience with UI automation testing.
• Three (3) years of experience with UI troubleshooting.
• Three (3) years of experience developing cloud-native Microservices using Java Spring Boot to build high-performance REST APIs that retrieve data from both SQL and NoSQL databases, hosted either on-premises or in the public cloud.
• Three (3) years of experience using Java Spring Security to develop secure applications and build resilient services.
• Three (3) years of experience writing unit tests with at least one unit test framework, such as Jest, Cypress, Junit, Spring Framework, or Mockito.
• Three (3) years of experience with API performance testing.
• Three (3) years of experience with API performance troubleshooting on both on-premises and public cloud environments.
• Three (3) years of experience with Gradle or Maven.
• Two (2) years of experience developing and deploying CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to support blue-green deployments for both front-end UI applications including JavaScript and React and back-end applications including Java Spring Boot.
• Two (2) years of experience packaging applications in Containers such as Docker Container.
• Two (2) years of experience with UI analytics.
• Two (2) years of experience with Automated Rest API tests.
• One (1) year of experience running Linux shell commands to use Git for code checkout and commits.
• One (1) year of experience using NPM commands to run React UI applications.
• One (1) year of experience with public cloud focusing on AWS services including AWS Gateway, AWS Lambda, and ECS services.
• One (1) year of experience troubleshooting issues using IntelliJ and VSCode on Windows systems.
• One (1) year of experience troubleshooting issues in Docker containers running on both Windows systems and Linux systems.
