This software developer will work with our test design engineers on writing code and developing applications for our cutting-edge test platforms. Requirements

Familiarity with IP networks and Linux a plus.
Clear, discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems.
Knowledge of software engineering practices and methodologies.

Nice To Haves

System level test experience is desired.
Ability to troubleshoot Hardware and resolve technical issues, and even to the component level.
Should be able to analyze basic circuits and schematics.
Experience with the standard lab debug tools (oscilloscope, signal generator, multimeter, power supply).
Experience with software development using C# is desired.
Electrical Engineer with (0-2yr) experience.

Responsibilities

Design, code, test, optimize, debug of Desktop, Web and Client Server Applications for set top box and modem test platforms.
Generate documents including design specifications, test procedures, flowcharts.
Manage applications and tools consistent with established industry specifications.
Collaborate with and take direction from Engineering Lead and subject matter experts in the technical assessment of new designs and development work.
Provide technical support for user issues, troubleshoot problems and take corrective action on a timely, effective basis.
Take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
Interface directly with customer.
Prepares Test reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing test results and failures.
Maintain and provide technical assistance for the various hardware and software test systems.
Provides engineering information’s in the field to development Team.
Ability to configure new routers based on the requirements.
Must be able to install and update software updates for the test systems.
Release final product into production and resolve issues.
