About The Position

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop scalable and resilient systems. This role involves executing software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting, creating secure and high-quality production code, and maintaining algorithms. You will produce architecture and design artifacts, gather and analyze data for reporting and continuous improvement, and identify problems and patterns to drive enhancements. Additionally, you will contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Computer Programmer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
• OR Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Computer Programmer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
• Three (3) years of experience designing data-driven insights and analytics, data warehousing, data migration, and batch processing in ETL using Microsoft SSIS.
• Three (3) years of experience designing and building web applications using MVC architecture, ASP.NET, and MS SQL.
• Three (3) years of experience developing microservices that deploy as REST APIs using Microsoft .NET and Java in a public cloud environment.
• Two (2) years of experience processing data by collaborating with the source of records team to understand data quality, data validations, and PI data compliance.
• Two (2) years of experience improving application reliability using enhancement practices including disaster recovery plans, backups, application repaves, and database restoration.
• Any amount of experience configuring infrastructure alerting and monitoring for performance using enterprise tools including Dynatrace, Netcool, SolarWinds, and Splunk.
• Any amount of experience performing risk analysis and closing risk breaks in applications and infrastructure through remediation and code fixes.
• Any amount of experience building applications using JSON and XML formatted data files or service payloads for data transfer.
• Any amount of experience performing data manipulation, data structuring, data flow design, and query optimization using tools such as SQL Server Management Studio or pgAdmin.
• Any amount of experience performing software service delivery including incident, change, problem, and release management using Confluence, JIRA, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
• Any amount of experience identifying technical risks and planning contingency or mitigation actions on project deliverables while monitoring progress.
• Any amount of experience designing and developing interactive Excel and PowerPoint reports with advanced functionalities such as VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, data analysis add-ons, pivot tables, VBA, and VBScript.
