Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and deployment of eBay iOS apps.
  • Analyze requirements prepare design, and develop robust, scalable software systems using object-oriented programming.
  • Design functional and technical solutions using behavior-driven-development and test-driven-development.
  • Maintain clean code and high-tier software craftsmanship.
  • Coordinate testing at all levels (unit, integration, User Interface, and Acceptance) refactoring to enhance testability and re-usability.
  • Utilize and enhance statistical analytical tools in support of continuous delivery and integration of developed products.
  • Drive architecture discussions, produce well-documented design docs, and participate in design and code reviews.
  • Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, refactoring, standards, and improving build and test systems.
  • Identify project risks, quantify risk/benefit relationships, and provide alternative solutions as well as risk mitigation, planning, retrospectives, story writing and tasking, and training/coaching.
