Grow Your Skills, Grow Your Potential We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to build enterprise-grade ServiceNow capabilities with the ServiceNow Engineering Services Team to improve employee experiences, accelerate automation, and deliver enterprise value. You’ll partner with product teams, business stakeholders, and fellow engineers to design, develop, test, and support ServiceNow solutions—owning delivery quality and contributing to platform excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver enterprise-grade ServiceNow automation capabilities that improve experiences and outcomes—while elevating engineering quality and capability across the ServiceNow platform.

Requirements

  • Experience developing on ServiceNow (or similar enterprise platforms)
  • Strong object-oriented design and software engineering fundamentals
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs (experience with ServiceNow GlideAPIs is a bonus)
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, web technologies, and workflow automation. Experience working with XML and JSON for data exchange formats.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes
  • Analytical problem-solving skills, clear communication, and strong collaboration with technical and business partners
  • Customer-focused mindset and dependable execution in delivery and operational support

Nice To Haves

  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA and/or CAD (as applicable)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certifications
  • Experience with ITSM, CSM, ITOM, IRM, SPM, or custom apps
  • Experience with ServiceNow's Automated Testing Framework (ATF)
  • Experience with Agile delivery and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments
  • Experience supporting enterprise architecture patterns, cloud concepts, and/or leading engineering efforts (for candidates targeting higher responsibility)

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, and user experiences
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions with measurable impact
  • Build workflows, business rules, and automations that improve operational efficiency and reliability
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs and enterprise integrations; build and consume APIs to support end-to-end integration needs
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and release readiness activities to ensure delivery quality and post-release stability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform and integration issues, identifying root cause and implementing durable fixes
  • Contribute to Agile delivery and modern engineering practices, including CI/CD where applicable
  • Recommend enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and user experience
  • Help shape reusable engineering patterns, standards, and modernization practices across the ServiceNow platform
  • Collaborate with architects, security, product, and engineering teams to drive scalable and supportable solutions
