Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
Understanding of User Interfaces (UI)s, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
Web Development Skills – Java, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design, Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services, Groovy, Grails, Angular
Backend Development Skills – General knowledge of python and Java language
As a requirement of continued employment, you will be required to obtain TS/SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

Some programming Skills/Experience
Docker Containers
Build tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab and CI/CD development philosophies

Responsibilities

Provide software engineering and web development expertise in support of software development and day-to-day operations of system operations and maintenance activities
Work on a team developing and maintaining a web-based thin-client software application
Work on a team developing back-end services and processing
Design and develop new capabilities/applications
Derive requirements through interactions with the project management and systems engineering teams
Develop, test, deploy and maintain software applications
Follow Software deployment best practices
Follow Configuration management workflows
Support Integration testing
