About The Position

This role is within the Sodatone team that builds an analytics platform that uses AI and machine learning to identify and evaluate emerging music talent. It leverages data from streaming services, social media, and other sources to help our A&R (Artist and Repertoire) teams identify emerging artists, track trends, and make informed decisions about talent scouting and artist development. In other words, you'll be working on the product that helped identify artists like CYRIL, Teddy Swims, PinkPanthress, and more!

Requirements

An undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science (or related field)
4+ years of backend or full-stack development experience
Adept at creatively navigating the open web, using unconventional methods to reliably source, extract, and integrate disparate data
Strong debugging skills with a solid grasp of testing, monitoring, and incident management
Knowledge of AWS or other large cloud computing environments
Strong understanding of developing APIs, backend services, databases, data pipelines, data warehousing
A high sense of ownership and a drive to deliver impact in a fast-paced, evolving, ambiguous environment
A drive to grow, learn, and master the craft of software development

Nice To Haves

Experience in Ruby on Rails, Postgres, TimescaleDB, Snowflake, TypeScript and React, React Native, and AWS
