About The Position

The team at Advanced Space is leading humanity back to the Moon and pioneering innovative solutions in the space industry. This team is seeking a Software Engineer responsible for developing ground and flight software for missions to the Moon and beyond. • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Able to write and debug basic C++ and Python code.
• Learning to write code that is modular and testable.
• Limited familiarity with industry tools and best practices.
• Familiar with concepts of unit and regression testing.
• Understands the importance of communicating when estimates are at risk.
• Strong willingness to learn industry-specific tools, libraries, and operating systems.
• Able to run unit and regression tests on new or modified code.
