About The Position

CACI is seeking a Software Engineer to fill a mission facing development position. This position is part of a niche team of developers who create and maintain several applications aimed at improving the integrity and usability of our client's data. Candidate should be a self-starter and possess a willingness to dive into new technologies when appropriate. This position will focus on new development which will be released to production within a year. Python and JavaScript key. Agile methodology is used. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • TS/SCI with required polygraph level clearance
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in software development using object-oriented programming languages
  • 4+ years as a full stack developer
  • 3+ years direct experience with Python web development
  • 3+ years experience building or calling downstream REST APIs
  • 3+ years experience using a JavaScript front-end framework (e.g. Angular, Vue, React)
  • 3+ years of experience using git to manage code changes and versioning
  • 3+ years of experience writing unit, integration and functional tests
  • 2+ years experience with CI/CD technology (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab Runners)
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years AWS experience
  • Experience with A&A documentation and questions
  • Client Department familiarity

Responsibilities

  • Participate in daily scrum meetings
  • Troubleshoot complex problems and assist customers with application and system issues
  • Use programming skills to automate and bring efficiency to client applications
