The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications throughout the software development lifecycle. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements, develops software features and components, troubleshoots complex issues, participates in code reviews, and contributes to design and architecture discussions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training.
  • 2 - 3+ years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Python development.
  • Experience with ELT tools.
  • Experience with AWS tools and cloud-based development practices.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Agile principles.
  • Experience with Java, Swift, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, and test software features and components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements.
  • Lead coding efforts for specific modules or features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and design discussions.
  • Use AI to augment software engineering work, including development, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and productivity improvements.
