About The Position

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Software Engineer. This is a Full-Time, Contract position with a duration of 12+ months, located in Melbourne, Florida. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining full-stack software applications, building modern, responsive front-end applications, and developing secure and scalable back-end services, APIs, and application logic. The engineer will deploy and maintain applications within AWS cloud environments, integrate cloud-native services, databases, and distributed application components, and support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and DevSecOps practices. Collaboration with engineers, cybersecurity teams, and mission stakeholders is key, as is direct interaction with customers for requirements gathering and functionality refinement. The role also includes creating technical documentation, system designs, roadmaps, implementation plans, and delivering technical presentations. The engineer must support evolving mission priorities in a dynamic operational environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR 8+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience modernizing and migrating analytics applications into high-performance web applications.
Active TS/SCI CI Poly Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting classified DoD mission environments.
Experience transitioning prototype or research capabilities into operational software solutions.
Experience deploying mission applications in high-security or classified environments.
Familiarity with C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments.
Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, or similar.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps methodologies.
Experience developing AI/ML-enabled mission applications and data-driven analytical tools.
Background working with sensor-derived, geophysical, seismic, acoustic, infrasonic, or other technical mission data.

Responsibilities
