About The Position

At KAV, you will use advanced manufacturing to save lives and insure our industrial sovereignty. Our goal is simple but massive: Save lives and reduce brain damage across every human endeavor. KAV is backed by 43North, Precursor Ventures, Brown & White and partners at Battery Ventures and Next Step Capital. You won’t be moving buttons around a screen or building another CRUD app. You will own the proprietary fabrication stack that powers our factory. From our impact testing platforms to our farm automation to our custom slicing engine, your code will be the bridge between a digital scan and a physical lifesaver.

Requirements

3–5 years of software development experience, or the work ethic to make up the difference.
Mission-Obsessed: You don’t just want a job; you want your work to matter. You bring a relentless drive to everything you build.
Self-Starting Polymath: You need the initiative to look at our infrastructure, spot the bottlenecks, and translate product goals into elegant, unit-tested code.

Responsibilities

Automate and streamline our 3D printer farm to scale the production of the most advanced helmets on Earth.
Integrate and evolve the ERP system that manages our entire end-to-end business logic.
Enhance our proprietary slicing software to reduce scrap, improve tolerances and enable industry leading products.
Use AI to extend our class leading, single photo, head rendering technology to any device.
Work directly with our impact testing platform to turn crash data into better software requirements.
