About The Position

We are seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in Scala and Capital Markets to join our Liquidity Technology team. This role involves building and enhancing backend systems for processing financial and liquidity data, implementing complex business logic, and working with large datasets. You will develop scalable, high-performance services using Scala, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to system design and architecture discussions.

Requirements

5–7 years of backend development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Scala (core requirement)
Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, and data manipulation
Experience working with transactional and data-heavy systems
Solid computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, system design)
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
Experience working across distributed systems and data processing pipelines

Nice To Haves

Experience within Capital Markets or financial services
Exposure to liquidity or regulatory reporting systems
