About The Position

Software Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Credit Company LLC (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Designing, developing, and implementing high-quality user interfaces for web applications using the React JS library. Developing and maintaining micro-frontends that can be shared across multiple applications using the Module Federation architecture. Collaborating with other developers and teams to ensure seamless integration of micro-frontends and the overall application. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers, designers, and project managers to create effective solutions for business requirements. Analyzing user requirements, conducting code reviews, and debugging issues to ensure high-quality software development. Ensuring the application's scalability, security, and performance through appropriate architecture and design decisions. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement of the software development process. Mentoring and training junior developers in best practices and coding standards. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are also important for this role. Optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • 4 years of experience with Utilizing React or Angular to design and develop client-side experiences.
  • 3 years of experience with Utilizing Splunk for log storage and analysis.
  • 3 years of experience with Utilizing paired programming practices to develop applications.
  • 3 years of experience with Utilizing Tekton, Cloud Build or Jenkins to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate the testing and deployment process.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred.
