About The Position

ISPA Technology is looking for a Software Engineer to support TITAN and Edge Theater Architecture efforts in Panama City Beach, Florida. These programs are focused on the future of tactical edge operations, including AI-enabled workflows, sensor-to-shooter data movement, resilient architectures, mission applications, and theater-level command and control. The role involves writing code that moves at mission speed, focusing on software that connects, adapts, and makes hard things usable under pressure, especially in challenging operational conditions like degraded networks, busy operators, messy data, and time-sensitive missions.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance or higher.
  • Experience developing software in one or more languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, or similar.
  • Experience with software design, debugging, integration, testing, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with Git, issue tracking, CI/CD concepts, and modern development workflows.
  • Ability to work on-site in Panama City Beach, FL.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoD, Navy, Army, joint, ISR, C2, targeting, or tactical edge systems.
  • Experience with containers, Kubernetes, Linux, APIs, message brokers, databases, data pipelines, or microservices.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps, secure coding, RMF support, STIG considerations, or cyber hardening.
  • Experience with tactical data links, TAK, Cursor-on-Target, Link 16 or Link 22 concepts, sensor integration, or mission command systems.
  • Experience working in lab, integration, test, or fielded mission environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, integrate, test, and sustain software capabilities that support tactical and theater edge mission environments.
  • Develop software for mission applications, data services, integration layers, tactical edge tools, and operational workflows.
  • Support integration with systems involving ISR data, tactical communications, command and control, targeting support, or mission analytics.
  • Build and maintain software using modern engineering practices, secure coding, automated testing, configuration management, and DevSecOps principles.
  • Collaborate with cyber, systems, network, and mission stakeholders to ensure software is secure, interoperable, and operationally relevant.
  • Support software architecture, design documentation, interface definition, test planning, and technical reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects across development, test, lab, and operational environments.
  • Support containerized, virtualized, cloud, on-premise, or edge-deployed software environments.
  • Help deliver software that supports rapid decision-making, data movement, and mission execution across TITAN and Edge Theater Architecture efforts.
