About The Position

As a Software Engineer at PAR, you will join the Application & Platform (APT) team for Bridg, our Identity Resolution platform. This team owns our product UI, customer onboarding and activation experience, Snowflake data warehouse, and audience onboarding and measurement workflows. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support. In this role, you will work with engineering teammates and our partner teams such as product, sales, and customer success to build reliable, scalable software that delivers meaningful value to our customers. We are a growing SaaS organization building cloud-native, data-intensive applications using AWS, Snowflake, Java, Python, and React. This role works heavily with external partner APIs, so you should be comfortable reading technical documentation, understanding a new API, and implementing against it. The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills, with Java and/or Python preferred
  • Highly motivated, curious, capable learner
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong data skills, including SQL proficiency and working with structured datasets
  • Experience building cloud-based applications, with AWS preferred (EC2, S3, Lambda, EMR, RDS, Redshift)
  • Experience working with Snowflake
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs (e.g., ad platforms like Google, Meta, or The Trade Desk, or data partners like LiveRamp), reading API documentation and implementing against it

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Spring Boot is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions for our Application & Platform (APT) team.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve existing solutions.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and stay current with emerging tools, patterns, and standards.
  • Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.
  • Work with engineering teammates and partner teams such as product, sales, and customer success to build reliable, scalable software.
  • Work heavily with external partner APIs, reading technical documentation, understanding a new API, and implementing against it.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Client Partners, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs and partner API requirements into thoughtful technical solutions.
