About The Position

Autodesk is looking for a Software Engineer to help build the next generation of cloud services, data platforms, and AI-powered capabilities that support Autodesk products and customers worldwide. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of scalable services and platform capabilities that power Autodesk's growing SaaS ecosystem. You will work alongside experienced engineers, architects, product managers, and UX designers to develop high-quality solutions that enable innovation across Autodesk's products and services. You will have the opportunity to contribute to cloud-native services, APIs, data platforms, and emerging AI-powered experiences while gaining hands-on experience with modern software engineering practices and large-scale distributed systems. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2–5 years of software development experience.
Strong proficiency in modern software development technologies, including: C++ and Python
Object-oriented design and software architecture principles
Understanding of software development fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
Basic understanding of APIs and web services.
Interest in cloud computing and SaaS technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Java and Spring Boot through academic, personal, internship, or professional projects.
Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
Knowledge of REST APIs and distributed systems concepts.
Experience with Git and source control systems.
Familiarity with automated testing practices.
Interest in data platforms, artificial intelligence, or cloud-native technologies.
Participation in open-source, academic, or personal software projects.
Desired proficiency with: TypeScript

Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
