Software Engineer
About The Position
A leading AI startup is looking for a Software Engineer to join its Growth Infrastructure team and build the systems that find, evaluate, and deploy domain experts at scale. Rather than tuning signup funnels, you will create the platform the growth team relies on to recruit, assess, interview, onboard, and retain specialists across a wide range of projects. You will own this infrastructure end to end, including outreach tooling, an AI-powered interviewer, assessment workflows, and the hiring platform that matches experts to projects based on fit and availability. Working side by side with growth associates, you will uncover bottlenecks, instrument the funnel, and ship automations and internal tools that replace manual work and sharply increase throughput. Over time, you will lead the development of machine learning recommendation systems that predict which expert profiles a project will need before it launches and automate the staffing pipeline from start to finish.
Requirements
- Two to five years of full-stack software engineering experience at a top-tier VC-backed startup, a respected trading firm, or as a founding engineer at a well-funded company.
- New grads considered if they bring multiple top-tier internships.
- A degree from a top-30 school in the U.S., Canada, or Europe.
- Candidates from big tech only required to hold a CS degree from a top-10 program.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js or Python.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- U.S. work authorization with the company open to visa transfers such as OPT and H-1B.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Kafka, Redis, or Elasticsearch.
- Ideally including marketplace or growth infrastructure work at a high-growth startup or a human-data AI company.
