About The Position

CAE USA is seeking a software engineer to build and deploy cutting edge cloud-based software products for internal Research and Development and/or Department of Defense contracts. This position is a fully on-site position with location in Orlando or Tampa, Florida. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Support the development, deployment, and sustainment of technology demonstrators. Present and conduct technology demonstrations to leadership and potential customers. Support and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and test. Perform as part of an Agile (SAFe) team (scrums, planning, retrospectives). May include travel.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience in 2 or more of the following categories: Frontend development (Angular, React, Vue, Typescript, etc.)
• Experience with real time streaming applications
• Experience with GIS
• Experience with WFS/WMS layers
• Experience with Cesium
• Experience with Geoserver
• Backend development (C#, .NET, C++, Python, Node, etc.)
• Data storage and messaging (PostgreSQL, Neo4J, RabbitMq, Kafka, WebSockets, etc.)
• DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, OpenShift, Jenkins, Terraform, GitLab Runner, etc.)
• Cloud Systems (Azure, GCP, AWS)
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, software, or computer science
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant software engineering experience
• Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
