About The Position

Altamira Technologies is seeking Software Engineers with a blend of full-stack development skills to provide software and web development services. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills across various technologies such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C, React, PostGIS, AWS Services, Git, and Docker/K8s. The company fosters a collaborative environment that encourages independent problem-solving while providing support. Candidates should be experienced in development and willing to adapt to different architectures, languages, and libraries to build effective systems and deliver excellent user experiences.

Requirements

• 3-years relevant experience
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in full-stack web development with one or more of the following technologies: Java, C, Python, web frameworks, JS/Typescript, React, Web Services (REST), Containerization , Kubernetes, Helm, NoSQL and SQL databases, TIG Stack, AWS or other cloud providers, Linux, Gitlab CI/CD
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Minimum of TS/SCI required. CI Poly preferred.
• Self-motivated and eager to work intently to satisfy mission requirements
• Adaptable and has the desire to maintain our company culture
• Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written communications
• Ability to multitask and adjust priorities as needed

Responsibilities

• Produce software based on desired functionality provided by users and analysts
• Interpret mission needs and requirements to produce user-friendly software systems
• Leverage continuous integration to create sustainable and maintainable software
• Interact with teammates and users through whiteboard sessions and/or design documents to establish circular feedback.
