About The Position

The Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Regional team is seeking a Software Engineer to join their fast-paced team. This role involves the design, development, and testing of C2BMC applications. The team is responsible for engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the U.S. Missile Defense System, protecting the United States and its allies. This large, fast-paced team is composed of many small agile teams working together in a dynamic environment with a common mission to develop and deploy leading-edge missile defense technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in software engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience software development of Java-based applications in a UNIX/Linux platform environment.
• Demonstrated experience developing software in a structured, process-based integrated team environment.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing configuration management tools in the development of software (e.g. Git/Gitlab/etc.).
• Understanding of standard system engineering design artifacts such as System requirements, Use Cases, and SysML diagrams.
• Security+ or equivalent certification may be required within 60 days of starting.
• Must be a US Citizen for consideration due to security clearance requirements.
